Betfred has announced the opening date for the Betfred at Mohegan Sun Sportsbook, which represents their first venture into the Nevada sports wagering market. Betfred at Mohegan Sun Sportsbook will open on Thursday, February 9, inside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton. Betfred was granted approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission and Nevada Gaming Control Board to manage sports wagering at the Mohegan Sun Sportsbook on Thursday, January 25.

To celebrate the grand opening on Thursday, February 9, UNLV Rebels football and Cincinnati Bengals legend Elbert “Ickey” Woods will be placing the first bet at Betfred at Mohegan Sun Sportsbook at 3:00 p.m. Best remembered for his signature touchdown celebration, the “Ickey Shuffle,” Woods was a breakout star in the NFL, setting both Bengals franchise and rookie records. Betfred is proudly the official sports betting partner of the Cincinnati Bengals. He is a member of the UNLV Athletics Hall Of Fame Class of 1998 and still holds Rebels rushing records today. Woods will host a meet and greet after the first bet, open to the public in Betfred at Mohegan Sun Sportsbook.
