It has been confirmed that next years Betfred British Masters will be a repeat of the 2021 edition, hosted by Danny Willet and played at The Belfry, where The Masters title went to veteran pro Richard Bland who was achieving his first ever Tour victory at the age of 48.

The 2022 Masters will take place from Thursday 5th May – Sunday 8th May.

The Betfred British Masters is part of the European Tour and one of the highlights of the British golfing calendar.

First played in 1946 as the Dunlop Masters the event returned to the European Tour schedule in 2015 after a seven-year absence, since when it has been hosted by top British golfers such as Lee Westwood, Tommy Fleetwood, Ian Poulter, and Justin Rose at a course of their choice.

With the two latest Betfred British Masters (played at The Belfry, and Close House, Newcastle) having been played behind closed doors due to the pandemic Danny is delighted to be able to reprise his role of host once again, hopefully this time with crowds able to return to the West Midlands course.
